It has become an annual tradition, much like tree trimming, that Tampa Chiropractor, Dr Ciccarello, sees more people with the similar complaint of low back pain coming on “unexpectedly”.
We have come to refer to it as Christmas low back pain.
Has the person been climbing on ladders in Tampa and Brandon and reaching out to adjust decorations from difficult positions? Bending repeatedly to get decorations or hidden presents out of storage boxes or bins?
Maybe sitting on the floor wrapping gifts for hours?
Taking time to rest between the increased physical demand on our bodies, with an application of a cold pack to the low back for 10 minutes, will often prevent fatigue and inflammation of chronic low back conditions from flaring up in discomfort, spasm or worse. Take the time to rest it is restorative to our physical and emotional well being during this festive time of year!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us here at the Chiropractic Health Center in Tampa.
